Distinguished Lecture: Building Bridges to Humanity: The Power of One, The Power of Many

Speaker: Delores Scott Brathwaite, ESQ., Commissioner, Westchester County Human Rights Commission.

This lecture will explore the importance of getting to the other side of inhumanity.  Can we co-exist in our free society without fully embracing humanity?  How has humanity become integrated into our contemporary concepts such as human rights and civil rights and are the principles and laws of humanity better advanced by the power of a few or by the power of many?

The Distinguished Lecture Series presents the leading scholars in the fields of Holocaust study, genocide and human rights.  Lectures are open to both educators and the community.  Admission is free but reservations are requested to assure adequate seating.  Students are welcome.  Groups must reserve in advance.
