Upstander Day
Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano has officially declared an Upstander Day in May. A special day meant to encourage student activism and awareness by inspiring students to become "Upstanders" (rather than bystanders) -- and to take an active role in changing the world. For more information, read the Upstander Day Flyer (pdf) and the Upstander Proclamation (pdf).
